Our Strategic Plan

The successful implementation of the ULHR mission will bring needed service and skills and resources to the African American communities of Hampton Roads.

Successful navigation of these efforts will would an opportunity to make a truly transformative impact on the communities served by the Urban League today. Urban League is now poised to convert their vision to a reality. It is assumed that the core focus of Urban League’s enhanced community engagement will center on addressing racial disparities focusing on racial health, housing, educational and workforce disparities.

This document introduces a game plan to make this happen – a pathway that comes with minimal duplication of existing nonprofits and maximum impact for the African American citizens of Hampton Roads.
