Monday, February 22 • Noon to 1 PM
The Urban League of Hampton Roads is proud to partner with GEICO, Black BRAND, Hampton Roads’ Regional Black Chamber of Commerce, and mental health experts to shed light on mental wellness.
A mental health crisis is mounting across the nation and especially within black and minority communities where stigma and access to care keeps some from getting help. The stresses brought on by COVID-19 and an economic downturn is increasing job and insurance loss, food insecurity, and loss of housing. Anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and suicide are on the rise.
Learn about the stigma and data behind mental health wellness in minority communities, ask questions, and learn about services and resources in our community.
Register for the online panel discussion February 22 at noon.
